Life Updates and Shit.

It’s been a while since I just sat down and wrote about what was going on in my life.  I don’t really find it particularly necessary to do so, since most of my good friends already know what’s been happening with me as it happens.

Still, it’s nice to take a little retrospective look at my life every now and then, just for myself and for whomever might be interested enough to read it.

So: big things.

First off, I had a lovely Memorial Day weekend up at Smith Mountain Lake with my friends.  It was filled with good food, campfires, jetskiing, swimming, drinking beers in the lake, and nasty sunburns.  It was really refreshing just to have a weekend away from everything.  I think we all needed it; I know I certainly did.

Second, I just had my final interview with Apple yesterday before (hopefully) getting hired to work at the store here in town.  It went extremely well, was very casual in nature, and I’m really confident that I nailed it.  I should be hearing back from them within the week, and hopefully, what I hear is good news.

Lastly, I had a date yesterday night.  I got sushi and frozen yogurt with a lovely lady whom I fancy very much.  It went incredibly well and I am most certainly hoping to see her again in the not-too-distant future.  And she brought me back Becherovka from her travels in Europe!  It’s a Czech liquor that you can’t really get anywhere else but the Czech Republic because they make it there and it’s super cheap.

Yeah.  I really, really like this girl.  And not just because she brought me booze.

So yeah.  I’m sort of on a life-high right now.

I find it completely impossible to watch a movie with either Donald Faison or Zach Braff in it, but not both of them.  I kept expecting JD to show up at the end of Skyline and reveal that the entire movie was one of his crazy daydreams.

Thanks for ruining me, Scrubs.

I know it’s supposed to be a bad thing, but my god, peeling the dead skin off your body after a particularly nasty sunburn is such a good feeling…

Isn’t skin cancer fun?!

Look at all these fucks I give: Diglett Friday Edition.

This will be the most epic and amazing 3 minutes and 20 seconds of your day.  I promise.
